During the online ratification vote held on April 22nd and April 25th, the NOSTA membership voted overwhelmingly in favour of ratifying the local agreement changes.These changes will come into effect on July 1, 2022.
The majority of local changes were minor housekeeping adjustments or changing language to better reflect current practise. One notable change however was the addition of a Land Acknowledgment to the Collective Agreement Preamble.
