It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the difficult decision of NOSTA and CUPE to postpone the retirement party that was scheduled for Friday, June 21st. Despite our best efforts, the turnout and sign-up for the event have been disappointingly low.
We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause, especially for our retirees who deserve a meaningful celebration of their careers and contributions. It’s unfortunate that we didn’t receive the participation we anticipated and required to run this event.
We are currently working on alternative plans to ensure our retirees are celebrated appropriately. More information will follow soon regarding ticket refunds and the new arrangements for the celebration.
